Jamie Cooper is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a recipient of a 2020 Oregon Literary Fellowship. His chapbook, The Truth About the Sun, is available from Finishing Line Press. His poetry and flash fiction have most recently appeared in Blue Earth Review, Molotov Cocktail, Tempered Runes Press, Fractured Lit, and elsewhere.

 

He is also a screenwriter whose work explores horror, crime, and the supernatural. His first feature-length screenplay, Nahual, is a vampire thriller set along the U.S.-Mexico border and was recently named Best Vampire Feature at the Oregon Screams Film Festival and a finalist at Horror Fest International. 

 

He lives in Portland, OR.
